HVAC Flat Rate Pricing Software is a price book, quoting and invoicing app for HVAC shops with 1 to 10 techs. It runs in the browser and as a native app for iPhone and iPad. Start with your own numbers. Enter your yearly overhead, how many techs you have, what you pay them, the hours you really bill and your profit goal. The app works out your break-even and the hourly rate you need to charge. Then it prices 57 common HVAC repairs from that rate. Each price is labor hours times your rate, plus each part on a sliding markup, rounded up. A price never drops below your costs plus your profit goal. Every repair gets good, better and best options built from real add-ons, such as a hard start kit, plus a member price and an after-hours price. The hours and part costs are starting defaults, so edit them to match your shop. At the house, pick the repairs and see the total and your profit. Then hand over the tablet. The customer sees the options side by side, with no costs on screen, picks one and signs with a finger. One tap turns the signed quote into an invoice, with labor and parts taxed separately. Send the PDF by text or email and record the payment. Your work is saved on the device and the app works with no signal after the first visit. A free account is optional and puts the same work on every device. Export the price book as CSV, or as files for QuickBooks Online import. There is no dispatch, scheduling or card payments. The web app is free with no limit on quotes. The iPhone app has a 7-day free trial, then a subscription.
